New Announcements: 

Boys Hockey Scores with 1 Second Left to Win 3-2!  The Spartans Boys Hockey Team won a thriller tonight beating section 4 opponent St. Paul Highland Park 3-2. With just over 5 seconds left on the game clock the Spartans Sr. Forward Casey Seidl won a offensive zone faceoff to Jr. defenseman Cade Renslow who slid a silky pass across the offensive zone to Sr. Josh Painter for the game winner with just over 1 second left to play! Getting the win in goal was Sr. Goaltender Cody Davidson stopping 16 of 18 shots! Seidl started the scoring with the Spartans first goal of the game. Painter scored the second goal early in the 3rd period and then followed it up with a last second game winner! It was a great team effort! Next up for the Spartans, their first conference match-up, they take to the road this Saturday to visit the Tartan Titans. Game times are 1:00/3:00pm.

 

The Simley wrestling team opened their dual meet season last night against St. Thomas and Two Rivers. The Spartans began the night facing St. Thomas. The Spartans dominated the cadets 66-6. Sophomore JJ Salas had a big upset at 126 to lead the Spartans. In the second dual of the night the Spartans faced Two Rivers. The Spartans would go 14-0 and shut out Two Rivers by a score of 78-0. Congratulations to the Simley wrestlers.

Attention all Juniors and Seniors - Are you interested in a Career in Sports:

Mr. Short will be teaching a Sports Science class this winter trimester. The course will teach the basic science and fundamentals and strategy of high school sports. The class will also cover sport production, sport marketing, sport media and sport history. Students will actively participate in the Simley activities department. Students will be required to attend some games in the evening. Students who are interested must apply to Will Short in the activities office. Applications can be found in the activities office. If you currently have a study hall or PE class in your schedule and you would like to be considered for this pilot program stop by the activities office and pick up an application form. Only 12 students will be allowed in the winter trimester class.  Applications are due by today, Friday, Dec 10.  

 

2022 Seniors and Families: The deadline for senior photos for the yearbook has been extended to February 1st. This is the final deadline. For more information check your school email or click  HERE.

In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.

When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key. 

Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.

Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.
