PTSA Fundraiser / Recaudación de fondos de la PTSA
The IGHMS PTSA will hold it's next fundraising event on 12/11/21. Come to Hometown Meats Smokehouse & Deli for your meat and deli needs! Hometown Meats will be generously donating 10% of all sales that day to IGHMS PTSA to help us support our teachers and students.

TODAY- City of IGH is hosting a FREE Winter Clothing Swap on Friday, Dec. 10 (4:30-7:30pm).
Event Summary: Spruce up your winter wardrobe for FREE at our city's Winter Clothing Swap event! Bring gently used winter clothes to give away and browse for something new-to-you. This reuse event is a great opportunity to bid adieu to items that are no longer serving you or your family, but still have plenty to provide to someone else. So check those closets, as new and gently used adults and children's winter clothing will be accepted. Items must be clean and in good condition. After you donate your gently used winter items, it's your turn to browse! Size up winter clothing for growing kids, or pick out a new style for yourself for FREE! Don't have something to give away? That is ok - part of this event is about providing these essential winter items for those in need in our community. Everyone is welcome to attend the event, browse items and take something home.

Middle School students are not allowed to stay after school and wander the hallways. Middle School students are only allowed to be in the building after school if they are on an IGHMS or Simley High School athletic team. Students who want to attend an event after school in either building must be accompanied by an adult.

IGHMS Music T-Shirt Fundraiser
This year the music department at IGHMS is purchasing t-shirts for all band and choir students to wear at concerts. Students will be asked to wear the t-shirt with jeans to each concert this year and in future years if they remain in band or choir.
The middle school is paying $5 per t-shirt and each student will be given a t-shirt regardless if a donation is possible. We are hoping any donations we receive will help offset our costs. IMPORTANT: Parents/Guardians: We know that sometimes it’s necessary for you to come to school to pick up your student during the school day. Please send a note with your student in the morning if you can. Your student should come to the main office in the morning with the note to get a pass. If you need to contact us during the day to let us know about picking up your student- please try to call at least 1 hour before you need the student to be excused. Attendance Line is 651-306-7878
We try to limit interruptions to class and following these suggestions can keep interruptions to learning to a minimum and get your student to the office more efficiently.

All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
