Congratulations to Simley Boys Basketball for giving Tartan their third loss of the season on Tuesday night! We need fans in the stands in South St. Paul on Friday at 7 o’clock! Buy tickets here:

The boys hockey team has their last regular season home game this Thursday night at 7:30pm. Student admission is $1. Come out and support the Spartans!
Due to a technology issue, students are not able to register for any classes at this time. The issue is being worked on and we will let you know when it has been resolved.
Seniors! The IGH B.E.S.T. Foundation Scholarships application is now open! One application to be considered for 140 scholarships only for Simley seniors. If you are planning to attend any kind of college after high school, don't miss this scholarship opportunity! Several military recruiters will be visiting Simley next week.
The U.S. Air Force will be here on Monday 2/14 at 10:20 AM.
The MN Army National Guard will be here Tuesday 2/15 at 11:15 AM.
The Marine Corps. will be here on Wednesday 2/16 at 1:35 PM.

The Simley High School All Night Party is BACK!!!
What it is: The All Night Party is held after graduation on June 9th, 2022 from 10:30pm-4:30am at Simley High School. This is a great night of fun with your class after graduation.
Who it is for: EVERYONE in the class of 2022
Price: $60: price includes Food, Games, Casino, Hypnotist and prizes to be given away at the end of the night (Tv's, gift cards and more!)

Minnesota and ISD 199 Escape the Vape Contest!
Use your imagination and develop your Escape the Vape masterpiece. Feel free to use any platform. Use one key fact, a call to action, and be sure that your video follows all of the contest rules, which can be found on the MN Escape the Vape website. Videos can be funny or serious, but should focus on educating youth about the harmful effects of vaping. Escape the Vape is a PSA video contest where Minnesota 6th-12th graders can use their voice to raise awareness about the dangers of vaping and expose the shadowy commercial tobacco marketing tactics behind it. Just create and upload your 30-second, vape-bashing masterpiece, and you could win $500 for you and $500 for your school or organization, along with other great prizes. Entries will be accepted February 1-28th. In addition to possibly willing prizes from the contest, participants can also win prizes from our district! If you have any questions, please reach out to Mrs. Bierly.
Winter Week will be February 7-11th. The dress up days are:
- Thursday: Monochromatic Day (Wear all one color - everyone picks their own color)
- Friday: Spartan Spirit Day
There will also be a first hour Bingo competition where the winning class earns donuts and juice.

In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.
When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key.
Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.
Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.
