New Announcements: 

The varsity softball team beat Two Rivers yesterday in their home opener. The score was 7-5. A couple highlights from the game were Ellie Johnson getting a solo home run and Kayla Buck catching a phenomenal game behind the plate. Varsity and JV play at Tartan today and the freshman team plays at home. Good luck Spartans!

Senior Grad Fee: The online portal to pay graduation fees has been opened! Payments can be made in SmartSchoolsK12 via the parent portal or in the main office with Ms. Sievert. If you still need to pay our grad fee, please do so soon. 

Senior Panoramics - to order online go to MyLifetouch.com and use Picture Day ID: MI011007T0. All orders are due May 6th. More order forms will be available on Monday of next week.

This is a reminder to all AP students that AP testing starts next week. Make sure you are ready to test on exam day and that means knowing when and where you are supposed to be. 

All AP students should have been shown a short video in AP classes that goes over all the do's and don'ts for testing. 

It is very important that YOU show up prepared on exam day and not disrupt others because you showed up unprepared.

Good luck to all AP students that are testing and congratulations to all seniors on making it to your last AP exams

The Simley High School theater program presents the musical comedy “The 25th annual Putnam County spelling bee.“ Showtimes are Thursday Friday Saturday evening at 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the door and online.  Please come and support this wonderful musical!

Are you interested in a hands-on, skilled trade as a career path? Come learn about apprenticeships THIS Thursday, April 28th during 3rd hour! We will be having a speaker from the MN Department of Labor coming in to talk about all things apprenticeship- trades, pathways, how to apply, benefits, next steps, etc. and answer any and all questions about MN apprenticeships. Simley's Gender Sexuality Alliance will be selling wristbands before school and during fifth hour this week. The wristbands are $2 and will help raise funds to support future events sponsored by the GSA. 

There will be a Cultural Fashion Show on May 9th at 4pm in the Performing Arts Center (PAC) sponsored by the International Club. Bring a clothing donation for entry to the event. There will also be an opportunity to enter a $1 raffle for various prizes.  If you are interested in participating, contact Litzi Rivera or Ms. Reyes ([email protected]).

Attention Junior and Seniors!

Prom tickets are now available for purchase in SmartschoolsK12, which is located in the parent portal. Tickets are $40 and you will only be able to purchase one ticket through SmartSchoolsK12.

Guest forms for non-Simley students and Simley underclassmen (9th and 10th) will be available in the guidance office with Ms. Jaco. These forms must be turned in to the main office and/or approved before tickets can be purchased. These tickets can only be purchased by using cash or check (made out to Simley).

What it is: The All Night Party is held after graduation on June 9th, 2022 from 10:30pm-4:30am at Simley High School. This is a great night of fun with your class after graduation.

Who it is for: EVERYONE in the class of 2022

Price: $60: price includes Food, Games, Casino, Hypnotist and prizes to be given away at the end of the night (Tv's, gift cards and more!)

The black student union supporter shirts are back! Get the size you want by scanning the QR code located on signs around the building and filling out the google form. Orders will be open for this week only, and payment is due when you pick up your shirt. Shirts are $10 and are cash or check only. Proceeds go to a community gathering at Simley Saturday June 4th sponsored by the BSU. Order a shirt and support Simley’s first ever Black Student Union.

Bus Drivers Needed!

 In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.

When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key. 

Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.

Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.
