Dakota County Public Health, Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) in partnership with Dakota County Public Libraries presents a cross-cultural, resiliency-focused learning opportunity with Adrian Michael Green. Click here to learn more about Adrian Michael.

ATTENTION ALL 6th graders
The Simley Boys & Girls Varsity Swim/Dive teams are hosting a FREE 5th & 6th Grade after school Swimming & Diving Event on May 4, 5 & 6th at the Grove/Veterans Memorial in IGH.
All 6th Grade boys & Girls are invited to participate & all abilities are welcome. The Simley H.S. Swim Teams’ Varsity Athletes (and the Varsity coaches) will be coaching the 5th & 6th grade students during practice & meet times.
Dats: May 4th & 5th - 3:45-5:15 p.m. & May 6th- 3:45-6:15 p.m.
The first two days will include learning the competitive swim strokes, diving (if they want), games and fun! The 3rd day will be a Swimming & Diving meet in which the 5th& 6th grade students will show off their newly learned skills & win ribbons. Parents are invited to come watch and cheer at the meet FREE of charge.

ATENCIÓN A TODOS LOS NIÑOS DE 6º
Los equipos Varsity de natación/buceo de Simley Boys & Girls están organizando un evento GRATUITO de natación y buceo después de la escuela para 5.° y 6.° grado el 4, 5 y 6 de mayo en el Grove/Veterans Memorial en IGH.
Todos los niños y niñas de sexto grado están invitados a participar y todas las habilidades son bienvenidas. El Simley H.S. Los atletas universitarios de los equipos de natación (y los entrenadores universitarios) estarán entrenando a los estudiantes de 5.° y 6.° grado durante las prácticas y las reuniones.
Días: 4 y 5 de mayo - 3:45-5:15 p.m. y 6 de mayo- 3:45-6:15 p.m.
¡Los dos primeros días incluirán el aprendizaje de los estilos de natación competitivos, clavados (si quieren), juegos y diversión! 7:00-8:00 AM: Early bird session - HS Boys or Hs Girls
8:00-9:00 AM: High School Girls - Female athletes entering 9-12th Grade.
9:00-10:00 AM: High School Boys - Male athletes entering 9-12th Grade.
10:00-11:00 AM: Middle School Boys and Girls - Entering 7th and 8th Grade.

The Simley High School theater program presents the musical comedy “The 25th annual Putnam County spelling bee.” Showtimes are Thursday, April 28, Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30 at 7 PM and Sunday, May 1 at 2 PM. IMPORTANT: Parents/Guardians: We know that sometimes it’s necessary for you to come to school to pick up your student during the school day. Please send a note with your student in the morning if you can. Your student should come to the main office in the morning with the note to get a pass. If you need to contact us during the day to let us know about picking up your student- please try to call at least 1 hour before you need the student to be excused. Attendance Line is 651-306-7878
We try to limit interruptions to class and following these suggestions can keep interruptions to learning to a minimum and get your student to the office more efficiently.

Middle School students are not allowed to stay after school and wander the hallways. Middle School students are only allowed to be in the building after school if they are participating in Targeted services classes or are on an IGHMS/Simley High School athletic team. Students who want to attend an event after school in either building must be accompanied by an adult.

All middle school students must be accompanied by an adult to sports events. Any student not accompanied by an adult will be turned away at the door.
