New Announcements:

On Friday, May 20th, the SPARC (Spartan Prevention, Advocacy, & Resource Coalition) Coalition, through the PCN Grant and the American Heart Association, will be hosting an ALL SCHOOL COLOR RUN at 2:30 p.m. for students and staff! Remember to wear white or light colored clothing and be prepared to have fun! 

 

Here are some important reminders for any student attending Prom this Saturday: Grand March starts at 4:30 pm in the PAC here at Simley. Please arrive no earlier than 4:00 pm to begin lining up. Students will be announced in the order in which they are lined up. Friends and family are welcome to attend and watch. The dance starts at 8:00 pm at Parkview Event Center, located inside Nickelodeon Universe. Please arrive no later than 8:30 pm. Please note that the Mall of America does have a parental escort policy. We ask that you park in the West Parking Ramp in case any student needs to be escorted in by our chaperones. Any bags or items brought to prom are subject to be searched. The rides begin at 9:30 pm and last until 11:30 pm. Please make sure you have your own ride to and from prom, no transportation is provided by the school. Tickets will not be sold at the door. All Night Party Tickets GO UP UP UP After May 15th! From $60 to $75

What it is: The All Night Party is held after graduation on June 9th, 2022 from 10:30pm-4:30am at Simley High School. This is a great night of fun with your class after graduation.

Who it is for: EVERYONE in the class of 2022

Price: $60: price includes Food, Games, Casino, Hypnotist and prizes to be given away at the end of the night (Tv's, gift cards and more!) $75 after May 15th

Yearbook Distribution:
Seniors will receive their yearbook on Friday, June 3rd during cap and gown pick up. All other students will receive their yearbooks the following week during school hours. More info to come. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Hensch at [email protected]. 
 

Interested in joining the 2022-2023 Simley Dance Team?  

Fall Performance Team and Winter Competitive Team tryout practices will take place on May 16 from 6-7:30pm, May 17 from 4-5:30pm and May 18 from 6-7:30pm. Tryouts will take place on Thursday, May 19 starting at 6:00pm. If you are currently in grades 5-11, you are welcome to tryout. Senior Grad Fee: The online portal to pay graduation fees has been opened! Payments can be made in SmartSchoolsK12 via the parent portal or in the main office with Ms. Sievert. If you still need to pay our grad fee, please do so soon.

Bus Drivers Needed!

ISD 199 is looking for more bus drivers and bus driver subs! Before and after school shifts are available, 4 hours per day are guaranteed, up to $23.25 per hour plus paid training, and full benefits at 25 hours per week. Learn more and apply at www.isd199.org/careers.

 In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.

When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key. 

Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.

Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.
