New Announcements:
Simley’s Back to School packet was mailed out early August. To access the information online, please click here.

Grade 9-12 Orientation Day is Wednesday, August 24! To make the experience as smooth as possible, please complete the Annual Student Update in Infinite Campus (parent portal) before attending. The Student Update needs to be completed before receiving a copy of the student’s schedule. Lifetouch will be here taking photos. Please encourage your student to take a picture because they use these photos to create student IDs.

Orientation Schedule

8:30-9:15 - 9th grade students, last names A-L

9:15-10:00 - 9th grade students, last names M-Z

10:00-11:00 - 10th grade students

11:00-12:00 - 11th grade students

12:00-1:00 - 12th grade students

Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club: Do you have a son or daughter in 7 th through 12 th grade that is interested in bowling for the Simley Co-Ed High School Bowling Club? Any level of bowler is welcome. If interested, please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at [email protected] for more information.

Students interested in performing or working on Tech Crew for the Fall Musical:

PERFORMERS:

If you are interested in auditioning for a performing role, Please sign up for an audition time using this link. For your audition, please prepare 1 minute of a musical theater song (16-32 measure) and provide your own accompaniment. If you can not find or prepare a song, we will teach you a piece to sing. You will also be doing cold readings for your audition.

TECH CREW:

Please come to the PAC either Thursday September 9th or Friday September 10th. We will have you complete a registration form and provide information about build dates and time. We will only keep you for about 30 minutes, so have your transportation ready to pick you up by 4:15 P.M.

DANCE CAMP:

This year for the musical, we will be hosting an audition "Dance Camp" the week before school starts. Times are being finalized so please stay tuned for dates and information. You are NOT required to attend camp to be in the musical, nor are you required to attend every day. However, it will help your audition performance and if you attend at least 3 out of 4 days, you will get an automatic CALL BACK on Friday, September 10th.

Bus Drivers Needed!

ISD 199 is looking for more bus drivers and bus driver subs! Before and after school shifts are available, 4 hours per day are guaranteed, up to $23.25 per hour plus paid training, and full benefits at 25 hours per week. Learn more and apply at www.isd199.org/careers.

 In order to get your son/daughter registered for sports you need to follow the link below to our new registration site; SmartSchool K12. When you arrive at the home site of the user portal, you will see guides available that will walk you through the registration process and setting up your parent portal, step by step.

When you are connecting your student to your parent account, you will need the STUDENT ID and their DATE OF BIRTH. You WILL NOT use a family key. 

Once you are registered and you have added your student to your account, please make sure to go into your settings and add a "Funding Source". This will allow you to complete your purchases upon checkout. Do not auto-fill this section as it will not work due to security reasons.

Earlier this year we had a lot of issues with different browsers when families were registering. Please attempt to use FireFox, as it is the most successful.
