Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Tennis team with their 4-3 victory over Hastings!

The Simley Girls Volleyball team defeated Henry Sibley last night in a non-conference match-up. A tight four set win which saw the Spartans win the first, third, and fourth sets was just what the team needed to reestablish its reputation for for solid play in all aspects of the game from ball control, to defense, to setting, to serving, and to big-time undiggable hitting. The Warriors strong outside hitters kept them in the match, but the widespread attack of Simley's offense found seven front row players in multiple figures in kills while nine back row players were also in double figures in digs. The victory was truly team-wide as all 12 players contributed to the win.

Simley swam against the Powerhouse Team of the Hudson Raiders at last night's Swim & Dive Meet, losing with a score of 78-105.  They swam different events compared to their usual events at last night's meet.  We're fortunate to have great depth in this team that we're able to move swimmers around in different events!
