Are you a student interested in the Simley Theatre Guild? Then come join us on Wednesday, October 11th from 5:00-6:00pm in the Performing Arts Center for our very first 2017 Theatre Guild meeting! Anyone in grades 6-12 are welcome to come. We will be talking about Guild basics, lettering, our upcoming show, possible events, and more. We hope to see you there!


Attention all Girls interested in joining basketball this coming season! There will be an informational meeting on Friday, October 13th at 7:10 a.m. in the high school gym.


Attention Seniors!

If you have not had your senior pictures taken yet, make sure you schedule your photo shoot soon! You have until December 1st to submit your Senior Portrait, turn in your baby picture, and complete the Senior Yearbook Survey.

Uniforms & bags will be collected tomorrow after school for all girls and boys C-squad and JV teams as well as the Varsity boys in the cafeteria.  The boosters are providing pizza for those who return their uniforms & bags.



Please join the Simley Cross Country team at the Simley Invite today after school.  All races are 2 miles in distance, starting with Boys HS 2 mile at 4:00, Girls HS 2 mile at 4:30.  The meet will be held on trails and fields here at Simley.


The Simley Girls Soccer team will be playing New Life Academy on Thursday, October 12 at 7:00 p.m.   Come support the team as they start their sections playoffs.  Tickets are $8 for Adults & $6 for students. Passes not accepted.   **The team is looking for 4-6 Ball Girls for the game.  Please send an email to if your child is interested in helping at the boys game and if your child is interested in helping at the girls game.     



Attention German Club members - There will be a meeting tomorrow morning at 7:15am in Mr. Mitchell's room. Please note the day change to Thursday instead of Friday. See Mr. Mitchell with conflicts.



Want to help your peers academically? Become a peer tutor today! You pick the hour and days, you get a partial credit, and can also count the hours you tutor as volunteer hours all while helping your fellow student! See Ms. Kimble for more information and to get started!


The College Knowledge Fact of the Day: There is a difference between colleges and universities. Generally, college refers to institutions that offer 2-year or 4-year undergraduate degrees while university refers to institutions that also offer graduate and professional degrees.




Carthage College, a private school in Wisconsin, will be here to visit TODAY, Wednesday, October 11th @ 12:45 PM

St. Catherine University will be here on Thursday, October 12th @ 1:00 PM

The College of St. Ben and St. John’s University will be here Friday, October 13th @ 10:25 AM

Interested in joining the 2017-2018 Simley Dance Team?  Winter Competitive Team tryout practices will take place on Monday, October 23rd and Tuesday, October 24th from 4:00-5:00pm & 5:15-6:15pm. Tryouts and team announcements will take place on Tuesday, October 24th after practice from 6:30-7:30pm.  If you are currently in grades 7-12, you are welcome to tryout.  See the signs posted around school for more details. Please email the Coaches at with any questions.

Student Parking Lot- Only students with a Simley parking pass are allowed to park in the student lot. If you do not have a pass, you must park off campus. Students found parked in the lot with a pass may be ticketed, booted etc. See Ms. Sievert in the main office if you have questions.

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
