There will be a blanket drive going on during conferences for animals in need! These blankets will be donated to Home for Life, an animal sanctuary that gives dogs and cats who can't be adopted, a stable, loving and safe environment to live in.  There will be a table set up in the commons where you can drop off used or new blankets TONIGHT, Tuesday from 4-7:30 p.m.  You can also drop blankets off in the main office or nurse's office at any time through November 3rd.  Please contact Jacob Juers or Cole Erdman with any questions.

Can You Dig It! The Simley Girls volleyball team defeated rival South St. Paul to retain "The Shovel" in its annual traveling trophy game with the Packers on Tuesday, October 17th. While the night before the Spartans Seniors took over the match with Visitation, this night saw the youth movement come out to play. Leading the youngsters was Junior Adara Kellogg merely having 8 kills in only 13 attempts while Sophomore Sydney Stensgard was all over the top of the volleyball hitting .500 with 10 kills. With the hands of a surgeon, Junior Rachel Wanger dished out 32 assists and 8th Grader Bella Studer was simply perfect from the service line with an ace mixed in. Simley made quick work of the match in straight sets, although in the second set, after ignoring the typically remarkable insights of their coaches and finding themselves down 12 - 8, the Spartans turned on the afterburners to win 17 of the next 19 points to crush any remaining hopes of the Packers.
