Boys Basketball starts for all 9th graders this week with tryouts running from November 15th-17th in the main gym from 4:30-6:00 p.m.  All 10th-12th graders will tryout November 20th-22nd in the main gym from 2:45-5:00.

If you haven’t registered yet please do so before tryouts begin.  After teams have been decided, refunds will be issued to any player that doesn’t make the team.  https://invergrove.feepay.com/

      There is a captain’s practice TOMORROW, Wednesday, Nov. 15th from 4:45-6:00 p.m. in the North gym and also Thursday, Nov. 16th  from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the main gym.


Students will be receiving their trimester 2 schedules on TOMORROW in your homeroom.   All schedule changes are due by November 30th, with NO exceptions. There will be no changes once the trimester begins on December 4th.



Simley Girls High School Bowling Club:  Do you have a daughter in 7th through 12th grade that is interested in bowling for the Simley Girls High School Bowling Club?  Any level of bowler is welcome.  Practices will begin mid-December. If interested, please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at [email protected]   for more information.  

Boys Hockey Team/Individual Pictures - Wednesday, November 15

Lifetouch will be at the rink tomorrow to take team & individual photos. Orders may be placed online at www.lifetouchsports.com    Picture Day ID: MI997358X0  Order forms are also available in the Activities office.

Theatre Booster Club Meeting Tonight!   If you have a student interested in theatre or if you'd like to support the theatre program please join us on Tuesday 11/14 at 6:30 in the Simley IMC for the Simley Theater Booster Club's November meeting. We hope to see you there!

 

Simley Alpine Ski Team Fundraiser

Need to do some stress-free holiday grocery shopping? Stop at Cub Foods in IGH this Sunday, November 19th between 10 am-6 pm and let the Simley Alpine Ski Team bag the groceries for you. We appreciate your support!

 

Attention Simley Baseball Players - There will be an informational meeting for anyone who is thinking or planning to play high school baseball this Thursday, November 16th at 4pm in the cafeteria.

 

Attention Girls interested in joining Track & Field in the Spring

There will be an informational meeting for Girls Track and Field after school on Wednesday, November 15th in the Spartan Center from 2:35-3:00.  Stop after school for a few minutes to try on uniform sizes, answer a questionnaire about events, and meet coaches.  

 

The Student Council Food Drive will occur this week during first hour. Please bring non-perishable food items to be donated to Neighbors Inc. The winning class will receive donuts and juice!

Attention 9th-12th grade Football Players and Families

This year's football banquet brunch will be held at Southview Country Club on Sunday, November 19 at 11 am.  The cost is $21/person- Senior players are free.  Please RSVP to Sarah Zaiser at [email protected] by November 14.

 

 

 

Attention Seniors!

If you have not had your senior pictures taken yet, make sure you schedule your photo shoot soon! You have until December 1st to submit your Senior Portrait, turn in your baby picture, and complete the Senior Yearbook Survey.

Student Parking Lot- Only students with a Simley parking pass are allowed to park in the student lot. If you do not have a pass, you must park off campus. Students found parked in the lot with a pass may be ticketed, booted etc. See Ms. Sievert in the main office if you have questions.


Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
