Happy New Year!

The Gymnastics team lost their meet to North St. Paul 126.30 -114.35.  Top finishers were: Amy Birkelo took 3rd on vault and Lane Paulson took 3rd on bars, beam & in the all-around, and 1st on beam.  Next home meet is on  January 18th!

Congratulations to the Boys Hockey team for winning the 2017 Open Division of the Schwan's Cup Hockey Tournament.  The Spartans are now 9-2-1 for the season.

Quiz Bowl practice is canceled Thursday, January 4th.

The official start of the Robotics season is TOMORROW, Thursday, January 4th after school in room EA108. If you are interested, it’s not too late to join. See Mr. Fisher if you have questions.

Basketball Booster Meeting – Monday, January 9th, 7:00 at Simley in Mr Peper’s room (W101).

Simley Swim/Dive Outback Fundraiser

You're invited to the Swim/Dive Team fundraiser. Saturday, January 13th, 2018 with two seatings 10:30 and 11:30 am. Come and join us for a great meal, and meet the swimmers/divers and their awesome coaches.

The ticket is $17.00 each ($10 per ticket is tax deductible). Menu: Steak, mashed potatoes, salad, and a beverage. This fundraising is to help raise money for uniforms, suits, equipment, etc. Your support is very much appreciated!

Attention German Club - There is a meeting Friday, Jan. 5 at 7:15 a.m. in Mr. Mitchell’s room.

Simley graduate and current University of Iowa student, Alex Anderson, will be here this Friday, January 5th at 9:30 A.M. He will be here sharing information about University of Iowa and answering questions about life on campus. Please see Ms. Kimble to sign-up and get a pass for the visit.





Attention Parents - If you are calling in to report an absence and would like to go directly to the Attendance line, please call 651-306-7010.  

Student Parking Lot- Only students with a Simley parking pass are allowed to park in the student lot. If you do not have a pass, you must park off campus. Students found parked in the lot with a pass may be ticketed, booted etc. See Ms. Sievert in the main office if you have questions.

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
