Attention Spanish Club Members - There is a Spanish Club meeting on Friday, February 2nd at 7:15 a.m. in Ms. Valencia’s room.

Attention German Club Members - There is a German Club meeting on Friday, February 2nd at 7:15 a.m. in Mr. Mitchell’s room.

The Choir will be selling carnations and roses during lunch Feb 5th-8th to be delivered on Valentine's Day.

Basketball Booster Meeting – Thursday, February 8th, 7:00 at Simley in Mr Peper’s room (W101).

The Spartans boys hockey team plays conference games at home TONIGHT and Friday night. Simley hosts Hastings on Thursday and Tartan on Friday at the Grove. JV at 5:30p and Varsity to follow both nights. Come out & support!

Simley Theatre presents One Act Plays - The Internet is Distract...Oh Look A Kitten and 14 Lines.  Performances will be held on Friday, February 2nd & Saturday, February 3rd at 7 p.m.  Tickets may be purchased at the door or online at   Tickets are $10 for Adults and $5 for students.

Have any new, old or gently used tennis shoes that you don’t need?  Seniors Matthew Baumann and Nick Molstad are doing a shoe drive through an organization called Angel Bins during the month of February. If you have any shoes that you would like to donate, just drop them off in the Guidance office.


The All Night Party committee has organized a fundraiser to help with costs of hosting the All Night Party for the Class of 2018. They need parent &/or student volunteers to bag groceries at Cub Foods on Sunday, February 4th. Shifts available are from 10am-12pm, 12-2pm, 2-4pm.  Please consider helping out with this very important fundraiser. Contact Lori Frye at  if you can volunteer.

Attention Lacrosse Players - If you are planning to join the boys Lacrosse team this Spring, please stop into the cafeteria after school on Wednesday, February 7th, for a quick gear fitting.    It will only take a minute or two, and will get the right size for your captain's practice equipment.

February is Black History Month, which is about coming together as a community to remember and celebrate black history.  This year, Simley will be hosting the Sounds of Color, where students of all backgrounds can come together to celebrate black history through music. The Sounds of Color event will take place on Thursday, February 15th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the PAC. We encourage you to be a part of this celebration.

Seniors: Reminder that there is a $45 grad fee that is due March 23. The payment can be made through Feepay. If you have any questions, see Ms. Sievert in the main office.



2018 Spring Trap Season

The 2018 Spring Trap Season will be starting soon.  Trap is open to all 7-12th grade boys and girls who have completed or will have completed the MN DNR Firearms Safety Certification by March 1st.  Registration information will be coming out in the next couple of weeks.  Feel free to email questions to or check the Simley Athletics Trap Page for additional information.(


Student Parking Lot- Only students with a Simley parking pass are allowed to park in the student lot. If you do not have a pass, you must park off campus. Students found parked in the lot with a pass may be ticketed, booted etc. See Ms. Sievert in the main office if you have questions.

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
