Attention all seniors:  All lunch release and study hall release forms must be renewed for trimester 2.  Please pick up a form in the main office or guidance office. Seniors who do not return a signed form are not permitted to leave school.  Also, please return all trimester 1 release cards to the main office.

Attention All Varsity Softball players - There is a Mandatory Softball meeting in Gilby’s room at 2:40 p.m. TOMORROW, Tuesday, December 4th.

The Gymnastics team placed 6th with 105. 90 points on Saturday.  Hudson won the tournament.  Congratulations to Bekkah Scufsca for taking 6th on beam!  Next home meet is December 13 at 6pm in North gym!




Boys hockey BLC monthly meeting will be held Monday, Dec. 3 @ 7pm at the in Armory C.  All are welcome and are encouraged to attend.

Basketball Booster Meeting - Wednesday, December 5th, in Mr Peper's Room WA101.

Lifetouch will be at the pool on Wednesday, December 5th to take Boys Swim & Dive pictures. Pictures may be ordered online at https://order.lifetouchsports.com/index.cfm?event=OrderHome&contractID=157901 or forms are available in the Activities office.

Upcoming College Visits:

A representative from the following colleges will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

St. Cloud State University will be here on Thursday, December 6th @ 8:30 AM

University of Nebraska, Lincoln will be here on Thursday, December 6th @ 10:00 AM

 

 

 

REPEAT ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention Parents - If you are calling in to report an absence and would like to go directly to the Attendance line, please call 651-306-7010.  

Attention all who are interested in participating in the Winter One Act Plays

Auditions will be held Dec 3rd and 4th @3:00 p.m. in the PAC.

All middle school students are welcome to audition.

If you are interested in the tech side, tech will be starting on Monday, December 10th @2:45 p.m.

They are two One Act shows:

The high school competition One Act is titled “The Door”

We are looking for 1 female lead and 1 male lead and one male or female extra.

The high school one act is open to students in grades 9th -12th only.

We also have 5 to 6 tech spots available.

The non-competitive One Act is titled “Monsters Under the Bed”

We need 7 middle school students for the leads and 7-12 others for the monsters.

Open to 6-12th grades with unlimited tech spots

 

Bring to auditions: 1 prepared monologue which can be anything but must be prepared.  If you don’t have one, a cold “unprepared reading” will be provided for you to read.

Simley Girls High School Bowling Club:  If you are interested in bowling for the Simley Girls High School Bowling Club,  the Girls 2019 season will begin in January. Any level of bowler is welcome. Please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at [email protected]   for more information.  Practices will start mid-December.

 

Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
