This is a reminder to all students that you must have a pass from a teacher to come to the Guidance office. Students that come to the Guidance office in between classes will NOT be given a pass to class, you must have a pass from a teacher.

It is not too late to join the Robotics team this year. There will be another informational meeting in the Robotics room after school TODAY in room EA109. The robot will also be on display during all 3 lunches today where you can ask current members questions about the robot and what Robotics is all about. Join the "Sport for the Mind". If unable to make the meeting today, stop by on Thursday. Robotics will meet this month on Tuesday and Thursday from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m.  Contact Mr. Fisher if you have questions.

There will be no GSA meeting TODAY. However, we will resume our meetings for the trimester on Tuesday, December 11 after school in the Flexible Learning Space. All are welcome to join.

Attention All Varsity Softball players - There is a Mandatory Softball meeting in Gilby’s room at 2:40 p.m. TODAY, Tuesday, December 4th.

Basketball Booster Meeting - Wednesday, December 5th, in Mr Peper's Room WA101.

Choir will be selling personalized and hand made ornaments for $2 during lunch until December 18th!

Lifetouch will be at the pool on Wednesday, December 5th to take Boys Swim & Dive pictures. Pictures may be ordered online at or forms are available in the Activities office.

Upcoming College Visits:

A representative from the following colleges will be visiting Simley at the specified dates and times. If you are interested in learning more about a college and hearing from an admission representative from their school, sign-up and get a pass from Ms. Kimble in the Student Center.

University of North Dakota will be here on Wednesday, December 5th @ 1:40 PM

St. Cloud State University will be here on Thursday, December 6th @ 8:30 AM

University of Nebraska, Lincoln will be here on Thursday, December 6th @ 10:00 AM

Attention all who are interested in participating in the Winter One Act Plays

Auditions will be held Dec 3rd and 4th @3:00 p.m. in the PAC.

All middle school students are welcome to audition.

If you are interested in the tech side, tech will be starting on Monday, December 10th @2:45 p.m.

They are two One Act shows:

The high school competition One Act is titled “The Door”

We are looking for 1 female lead and 1 male lead and one male or female extra.

The high school one act is open to students in grades 9th -12th only.

We also have 5 to 6 tech spots available.

The non-competitive One Act is titled “Monsters Under the Bed”

We need 7 middle school students for the leads and 7-12 others for the monsters.

Open to 6-12th grades with unlimited tech spots


Bring to auditions: 1 prepared monologue which can be anything but must be prepared.  If you don’t have one, a cold “unprepared reading” will be provided for you to read.

Simley Girls High School Bowling Club:  If you are interested in bowling for the Simley Girls High School Bowling Club,  the Girls 2019 season will begin in January. Any level of bowler is welcome. Please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at   for more information.  Practices will start mid-December.


Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
