Attention 9th graders:  On Monday, December 10th, the school counselors will be visiting your English classrooms.  Everyone will receive a copy of their first high school transcript! Your counselors will also be discussing their role and how they can help you along with making sure you understand things like grade point average & credits required for graduation.  

Congratulations to the Boys’ Swimming & Diving team for their spectacular 1st place finish at Conference Relays last night! The last time the team won this meet was in 2009 when the team placed second at state. Relays that placed in the top 3 are as follows: The team of Michael Schmalz, Gabe Ukestad, Eric Petschl, and Ben Briguet won the 200 Free Relay; the team of Ethan Jie, Brandon Petryszyn, Joseph Waska, and Nico Losinski won the 4 x 100 IM Relays; the team of Andrew Perrin, Gabe Ukestad, Sam Montague, and Michael Schmalz took 2nd the 200 Butterfly; the team of Garrett Kaiser, Ben Briguet, Ethan Jie and Andrew Perrin won the Crescendo Relay; the team of Brandon Petryszyn, Eric Petschl, Eric Schroeder and Nico Losinski took 2nd in the 200 Backstroke Relay; the team of Michael Schmalz, Ethan Jie, Ben Briguet and Joseph Waska won the 200 Breaststroke Relay; and the team of Andrew Perrin, Gabe Ukestad, Eric Petschl and Nico Losinski took 2nd place in the 400 Free Relay. The next home meet is next Thursday against South St. Paul.  Come support the team please.

2019 Spartan Yearbook

Choir will be selling personalized and hand made ornaments for $2 during lunch until December 18th!

The Power of Change is a fundraiser set up by Logan McMonigal and August Hewitt for their National Honors Society senior project. Donations will help raise money to give a trained service dog to a veteran suffering from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). Every bit helps, no matter how big or small a donation. The fundraiser will start Wednesday, December 5 and end Wednesday, December 19. Donations will be collected in 7th hour classes.

The 7th hour that donates the most will be awarded with a pizza party to celebrate the start of winter break on Thursday, December 20. There are posters taped up around if you would like more information.

Simley Girls High School Bowling Club:  If you are interested in bowling for the Simley Girls High School Bowling Club,  the Girls 2019 season will begin in January. Any level of bowler is welcome. Please contact Gary Salzman (coach) at   for more information.  Practices will start mid-December.


Reminder to Simley students - You are NOT allowed to be in the middle school. This includes cutting through the middle school in the morning and afternoons when arriving to or leaving from school.
