At a special board meeting on April 9, the ISD 199 School Board voted to select Dr. Tyrone Brookins as the district’s next superintendent.

Dakota County Public Health will hold a free and low-cost vaccine clinic for children on April 23.

Simley Theatre will perform the musical "Mean Girls: High School Version" April 23-26.

The Simley High School Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble received the highest possible marks at this year’s State Large Group Band Contest.

ISD 199 Superintendent Dave Bernhardson announces his retirement, which is set for June 30, 2026. In the meantime, he remains committed to serving the community and ensuring a smooth leadership transition.
