Intra-district Transfers
ISD 199 families have the opportunity to request to attend an elementary school other than their attendance boundary school through the Intra-District Transfer Process. Just as in our in-building models, there may be times that a family requests a different school or learning model.
The intra-district transfer procedure outlined below details the process for ISD 199 families requesting to have a student attend an elementary school other than the one they are currently enrolled in. During the school year, acceptance of students under an intra-district transfer shall not increase staffing, class capacity, or transportation capacity (if transporting to the home school). If transportation space to the home school is not available or if requesting a school other than a student’s home school, transportation arrangements remain the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
