KARE 11 Meteorologist Visits Simley to Connect Science Lessons With Career Pathways

KARE 11 Meteorologist Jamie Kagol visited Simley High School science classes that had just wrapped up their meteorology lessons. He talked about how he forecasts the weather and walked through some meteorological maps he uses.
He also talked about his career. Although he was born in Minnesota, Mr. Kagol said he has worked all over the country and reported on almost every kind of weather event. He told students about how he got into meteorology and what it’s like to broadcast the forecast. Students asked questions about his career, including his favorite place to work and his favorite season to report on.
