Making school history, the girls track and field team won the Metro East Conference Meet by scoring 144 points.  Champions (All Conference): - Abby Hepper - Shot Put and Discus - Kate Carlson - 200 Meter Dash (Kate also bettered her own school record in the 200) - Megan Gullerud - 3200 Meter Run - Taylor Ralston, Laura Bosin, Zoe Boughton, and Kate Carlson - 4x100 Meter Relay Second Place (All Conference):  - Kate Carlson - 100 Meter Dash  - Emmi Hocking - 400 Meter Das - Makenzie Gibson - Discus Third Place (All Conference Honorable Mention): - Laura Bosin - 400 Meter Dash - Brekken Grathen - 3200 Meter Run - Zainab Adebayo - Discus  Fourth Place (All Conference Honorable Mention): - Zoe Boughton - 100 Meter Dash and 200 Meter Dash  - Megan Gullerud - 1600 Meter Run - Laura Bosin - Long Jump - Malia Miller - Triple Jump - Laura Bosin, Brekken Grathen, Megan Gullerud, and Emmi Hocking - 4x400 Meter Relay - Crystal Bonilla-Rios, Abigale Lindquist, Julia Myers, and Anna Cheyne - 4x800 Meter Relay
The boys track and field team earned 8th place at the Conference Championship Meet and had one conference champion.

Apply for Discounts on Internet Service With the Emergency Broadband Benefit

Students who receive Educational Benefits, which includes free and reduced-price meals, are eligible for the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB). The EBB is available now to help families afford broadband internet during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eligible households will receive a discount of up to $50 per month toward Internet service and a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers.

Spartan Trained is back!--Summer Strength and Speed registration is now open. The Spartan Trained program is available to all athletes going into 7th -12th grade. Join Coach Mensen, Coach Berg, Coach Austin, Coach Storm, Coach Kissling and Jack Ryan for a summer of speed and strength training. The Spartan Trained program will start on June 14th and run 5 days a week, until August 12th (no training the week of July 5-9th. That is the MSHSL blackout period. No Spartan trained that week). The Strength and Speed program will have four sessions available to athletes:

7-8AM-Early Bird High School Girls and Boys

8-9AM-High School Girls

9-10AM-High School Boys

10-11AM-Middle school students

Registration is available on Smart Schools. Remember to choose your session when you register. If you have any questions contact the activities office.

The award winning Simley Marching Band wants you!  

If you are going to be a 7th grade student or older next school year, join us this Summer and Fall for the 2021 season as we hit the streets again.  Even if you don't play an instrument you can still be involved in marching band with our awesome color guard.  The high school bands plus the Simley Marching Band are looking at taking a tour to Chicago in the Spring of 2022.
